What is Wichita Startup Week?
In partnership with Techstars, a worldwide network to help entrepreneurs succeed, Wichita Startup Week is five days jam-packed with free sessions to help you turn your business idea into reality. Our inaugural event in 2021 hosted 300 registrants & more than 2,300 tickets distributed to 40 free sessions, including a Business Trade Show, Pitch Competition & more. Our goal for this year is to go bigger and highlight the entrepreneurial spirit we have right here in Wichita, Kansas.
Available Tracks

Diversity Equity and Inclusion Track presented by Fidelity Bank
Intended for underserved populations unsure how to break through. This track will place special emphasis on ensuring marginalized communities have every opportunity to lead in the economy of Wichita’s future.

Newcomer Track
Intended for someone with a million-dollar idea but unsure how to get started. The track will allow newcomers with an interest in entrepreneurship a quick onramp to all the startup resources available in Wichita.

Established Track presented by EY
Intended for existing new companies to break down the barriers preventing them from scaling, to identify solutions common to newly started companies, and to share best practices among Wichita’s most promising young companies.

Innovation Track presented by the Kansas Department of Commerce
Intended to imagine Wichita’s economy five years out and to start working toward the strategies to get us there. Topics will include cryptocurrency, cyber security, Web 3, talent development, and other issues to identify the expertise needed for Wichita to win.

Product Development Track
Learn about the best technical frameworks, the importance of UX, and product management 101 all while walking the engineering walk while talking the design talk.
